It was following her schooling at Ensaama, Olivier de Serre, and Gobelins school, that Elise Gerosa naturally orbited around the world of photography. Within a distinctive and highly atypical universe, much of her works focus on levitation and optical illusions.

Although her images are dream-like, little room is given to chance. Each element, constructed, laid down, and thought through. For the last year, this paris based photographer has further continued her education of the composition of our planet earth. With sensitivity, accuracy and modesty, the world of elise gerosa emphasizes the beauty and richness of the materials present in the lithosphere. Through her surrealist worlds, this young photographer tries to make us observe the world around us up close and value the diversity of constructs of a simple rock. An element that travels through time and embodies our history.
